This reviewer after having eaten in over a thousand burger restaurants in the East Bay and Northern California, cannot recommend this restaurant or its chain. It is a money grab operation, that serves disproportionately small portions, tiny burgers, tiny fries, and are actively working to push the workers out, and go all-kiosk for the orders. The workers were super nice, working hard and very friendly, but this business model, is not about quality, or value. Basically their idea of a hamburger and the formula with which they present it, suck. I recommend that everyone break the habit.

Spectacularly bad experience. Ordered through the Habit app and received a text proudly announcing my order was “ready.” Spoiler: it wasn’t. Not even close. They do contract their delivery to DoorDash. That’s where things failed. Multiple DoorDash drivers showed up and all of them cancelled because the order hadn’t been prepared at all. After wasting everyone’s time, DoorDash eventually cancelled. I tried calling the store to fix the issue and was greeted by an AI that couldn’t help and redirected me to the website’s “Contact Us” page because nothing says customer service like sending frustrated customers into an online black hole. If your app can’t tell the difference between “ready” and “not started,” and your phone line can’t connect to a human, something is deeply broken. Corporate systems failing customers at every step. Do better. Also, I still have no word about getting a refund from the store

This location takes forever to get your food! There's nobody inside and it took over 15 minutes to get 2 cheeseburgers and 1 order of French fries. While waiting, I noticed how dirty and sticky their tables are. I guess they don't care about cleaning here. The employees all have a miserable look on their faces as if they're working at a prison. Avoid this location and find a better Habit location that cares.

Kiosks run the show now. Then ask for a tip prior to meal experience. Then you get notified by phone but with no food number. The server yells out a number but all the customers are confused because we don’t have one. Thennnnn the burger I got, the bun was poor quality like drywall. I’ve eaten at Habit for years and could rely on a good meal. This wasn’t the business today. Banana peppers are still delicious here.

A few days ago, I had a little time before we had to start working next door, so I popped in and satisfied my Habit.😊 see what I did there? 😉 It was my first time getting the mocha chocolate shake and, boy, howdy hay, it was good. The Double Char Burger was a 5⭐️ as usual, and the fries were perfectly done. Crispy and salty on the outside and mash-potatoy in the inside, and with the ketchup,😋 perfection. 👌 The bad things I could say about this visit is that there was a mess on the floor in front of the counter that wasn't cleaned up until I was just about done eating, and the ketchup dispenser wasn't working or stocked. Good thing they weren't stingy with the ketchup packets. Overall, another great experience at the Habit.
