Everything is great but they have people (unhoused/drug addicts) hanging around there but it’s not their fault as they can’t control that. But overall excellent service @ this location, got my Jibbi today! Woohoo! My luck would’ve been them saying they were out for some reason but I won today!

This location is on the rough side with lots of homeless people gathered outside. The service is good. I know the large cup I was provided is smaller than the cup I recieve by SDSU jack in the box. The food was pretty good.

In the three years I’ve lived in downtown San Diego, I’ve consistently had bad experiences at this location. This is genuinely the worst Jack in the Box I’ve ever been to in my life. The staff seem completely uninterested in service, consistency, or quality. They charge for sauces and forget to include them, serve old fries, and regularly get orders wrong. Whether I’ve gone through the drive thru or ordered delivery, the food has either been incorrect, cold, or just plain bad. They say doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result is insanity. For three years, my friends and I kept spinning the wheel anyway because a late night craving is a powerful force. No more. We’re taking our business to the location on Market and 24th, where they seem to understand basic food safety and don’t guard ranch packets like they’re holding the last remaining reserves at Fort Knox. This place sucks. The owner should either sell it to someone who cares or shut this biohazard down.

I've been coming to this location on a regular basis since January of this year. I gave to say very frankly, I have NEVER seen a JITB with this many homeless people right in front of the doors as I have here. If they're not smoking/doing drugs on the steps in front of the doors making it difficultto get in/out, they are asleep in the booths or at the tables making it difficult to sit down and enjoy your meal. Other than one single employee in the mornings (I LOVE WHEN SHE'STHERE), I have yet to see any of the staff tell them they have to leave. Even the security guard (when he's there) isn't very useful. He makes leaving sound more like an option than a direct command. I've witnessed a man come in asking all the tables if the want to buy cigarettes, and have had numerous homeless in there asking me for money, school age kids asking people to buy them food and sitting on rhe table intended for your disabled patrons, and even digging through thectrash bins. I am usually there around 30 minutes each time I go in, and have seen some of the same people there when I leave that were there when I arrived (there are signs posted about the 30 minute dining time). I am aware there is a large homeless community in San Diego, but when establishments don't deter them, you end up losing faithful patrons.

I love the burgers at Jack in the Box! 🍔 They’re always tasty, fresh, and hit the spot when you’re craving a good burger. The menu has a lot of choices, and the food is always satisfying. Definitely one of my go-to places when I want a quick and good burger.
