We went to REI down the block, checked on Google Maps, and saw that Dave’s Hot Chicken with a 4.9. So we had to try it. Paloma was behind the counter and she was awesome helping us. With a cordial smile and eager to help us choose from the menu. Food was good, fresh. I chose the mild chicken tender and the hot slider. I thought both tasted the same, hot was not spicy at all. The Dave Sauce was good. Fries were excellent. I’m with other folks giving reviews where Dave’s Hot Chicken allows us to choose different spices in chicken. Over all good food and even better service. I would come back again. Thanks Dave’s Hot Chicken!!! And great job Paloma!!!

1st time here, I had the slider (mild) and it was delish, I tasted the bites (medium) it was a little oily. They put a slice of white bread, toast at least. Other than that it was good. 👍🏽 Please draw your shades down if not it will be a scorcher. Ryan has excellent customer service, give him a raise he went above and beyond.

Plump, well-seasoned chicken and solid fries. Dave’s gets the fundamentals right. The heat scale could use more nuance at the higher end; it gets hotter but not necessarily more flavorful. Still, it’s a cut above the competition.

The chicken tenders were great. Juicy meat, crunchy batter and the sauce that went with it was divine. I was kinda disappointed with the spice level though. I got the medium expecting it to be decently spicy considering I have a low tolerance for it but it was barely noticeable to me. Service was particularly fast as well.

Liam is a cheerful delightful young man! As soon as I came in I was blessed with a lovely smile and a delightful attitude!
