It's rare to have anything positive to say about fast dining especially nowadays, however I'm pleased to say that isn't always true. Staff at this location are wonderfully friendly and accommodating, Tashyla specifically went above and beyond to provide excellent service and curate an atmosphere I have never experienced when dining inside a fast food chain. Absolutely 10/10

I love a good Firehouse sub. It is a unique prep that is different than other sub shops. In the past, my biggest complaint about Firehouse is that they do not allow you to use gift cards when ordering online. This is problematic because they are not fast in prepping their food, so I prefer to order online and pick it up rather than wait the 20+ minutes it often takes in shop. The San Marco location is solid, though the parking lot is small. However, the lot behind the store is readily available and is usually where I end up parking. Today, however, the experience was very poor. My wife ordered a small Hook & Ladder. When she got home, she thought the bag felt light, but when she opened it up, she was in for a big surprise. They gave her a Hook & Ladder with absolutely NO MEAT! She returned to the store to get it exchanged. Somehow, this "error" was explained by the manager with "the way we make our sandwiches, this error can occur". I'm sorry? Your process allows you to make sandwiches without the actual sandwich meat, and not notice this? I don't know how a Hook & Ladder sandwich can leave the store with no meat and nobody notices.

I'm not sure what it is about Firehouse Subs, but their sandwiches are incredibly delicious. I've been coming here for years, and I've never noticed the Jamaican Turkey sub until today. I finally decided to try it after seeing it on the menu. I usually get the Hook & Ladder and a few other options, but I've never seen the Jamaican Jerk Turkey sub before. It was delicious, especially with some cherry lime!

Worst firehouse experience & one of the worst customer service experiences. Went in at 6:00pm on a Saturday, guy at the counter clearly did not want to take my order, was mumbling & barely said a word during the interaction. Not a big deal, service industry isn’t easy, I understand. But then I get home with the sub and they left off my tomatoes and jalepenoes. I maybe understand forgetting the jalepenoes because it’s an added topping. But not sure how you mess up “fully involved” by forgetting tomatoes. Damn near seemed intentional. I wouldn’t recommend this FH.

I love Firehouse! In all my visits, I only came across one non friendly employee! Fast and delish and If by chance you have an issue, they do you right every time!
