This used to be my go to place for chicken, and red beans and rice. Yesterday i ordered 8 pcs., all dark. I heard a young employee say that she didn't have enough dark meat to give me all dark meat. Someone did fill my order. I think she may have been the lady in charge, she had on a greenish top. I bought an 8 pc. , all dark meat, 1 lg. Beans and rice, 1 lg. Coleslaw, and they added the 4 biscuits that comes with the chicken, even though i said that i didn't want the biscuits. My order came to $37. plus change. I can get 8 pcs. of chicken for $10.oo. Sure, if i order 2 lg. sides it will cost me too, but my order will still be a lot less than $37.. The chicken was perfect, as were the red beans and rice. However, the Coleslaw was a waste of 💰 money. It was nothing at all like it used to be. The dressing was runny, and there was way too much on the salad. I think they may have changed brands. It just wasn't like the Coleslaw that they used to have. I will be going to my other place for chicken from now on. Their coleslaw is still the same as it has always been.

I've already complained to corporate about the Popeyes restaurant on Armenia in Tampa Florida. Corporate sent me a coupon. I used it Sunday and got the same kind of treatment that I complained about. There was another family in there before me and they had been waiting a long time for spicy chicken. So the father gets up to see what's taking so long. And the people there almost bite the guy's head off, she said to the man,," I said I was fixing your order right now"it was 15 more minutes before the man got his spicy chicken because that's what I was waiting for too. My chicken what's fresh and hot but there was something wrong with the red beans and rice. The red beans and rice had a sour taste to it and was runny, It made me sick to my stomach. I will never eat at this location again. I know you seen all these bad reviews on this location you either need to shut it down or retrain everybody in their. They need to work on their customer service skills because they have none. Is this Popeye's location a franchise store or is it independently owned.. because it's so rudely operating they have no customer appreciation at all. Rude and discourteous.😡🤬

On March 2 , 2026 approx 3:30, I ordered a meal and the employee came out to attack me after calling his family to jump me and my grandma because we said wanted my chicken made over. He told us it would be the fresh chicken would be 30 minute wait, we waited and he called his family to “fight us” and they were all black men. This Popeyes needs new employees asap that can handle their work. No way my grandma should have been almost attacked over some chicken. Please check the surveillance in the parking lot

People in here just doesn’t care. I told them 3 times I wanted spicy, first time I said is when I was ordering, as I was paying I confirmed if they were spicy she said yes after that they told me to pull up next to the door. I looked at my receipt and saw it said “original” I backed up to the window and told them I want spicy. She barely acknowledged me and said ok go back. Got to my house and of course it’s not spicy. HORRIBLE SERVICE‼️‼️

Don’t order from this location. Thee worst Popeyes I’ve ever had. Everytime the chicken isn’t cooked all the way. Many times missing numerous pieces of chicken or items all together. If you can’t count to 10 maybe you need to find a new job… definitely will not be returning to a Popeyes again which sucks as I ordered it every other day when I broke both my feet & became very close to the employees at my old local Popeyes
