Went on a Wednesday around 2pm to check Wanna Smash and it was pretty empty. It is a cute bar style restaurant with high tops and mostly bar seating. The service was awesome, there were two ladies working and both were very friendly and attentive coming to check on us often. Even the kitchen staff who brought our food out asked if we needed anything else. I LOVED the smash burgers and fries!! Soooo flavorful! The smash burgers all have unique twists and I really loved the spicy “Hot & Heavy” which had jalepeno and spicy yum yum and “The quickie” which was a more classic take. I wasn’t a big fan of the sweeter burger which was the “Happy Ending” but still a solid option. Their sauces were very very good with the fries if you want to switch up from ketchup. I did not care for the alcoholic drinks however, very sweet and cheap quality. I tried the Cinnamon Toast Crunch shake which I 100% would order again during my next visit!

I stopped by **Wanna Smash** in Canton around 11:35 AM, but found out the hard way that they don’t open until noon (the website didn't have hours listed at the time). After waiting it out and heading back in, I had a solid overall experience. **The Food & Drink:** I ordered one of their **Smash Burgers** and added **onion rings**, plus a mixed drink from the menu. The burger itself was very tasty. My only minor critique is that I prefer my smash burgers with those signature crispy edges all around; on this one, only about half—one corner, really—had that crunch. Since I was one of the first people in the building, I suspect the grill just hadn’t reached that peak "smash" temperature yet. That said, the flavor was definitely there. **The Logistics:** One thing to be aware of: they add an **automatic 18% gratuity** to the bill. My total with that tip came to about **$40**. I usually tip in the 20-25% range anyway, so it wasn't a dealbreaker for me, but it’s definitely something to keep in mind if you're sensitive to automatic service charges. **Final Verdict:** Was it the absolute best smash burger I’ve ever had? No. But is it worth trying? **Absolutely.** I’ll definitely be making a return visit to see how it hits when the grill is in full swing. If you’re in the **Canton/Baltimore area**, give Wanna Smash a try!

We enjoyed the food and the service tonight at Wanna Smash. The burger was generously sized and the sauce was good, with a lot of pickles and cheese on a nicely toasted bun, with added bacon. Fries and onion rings were pretty great! Enjoyed the Caribbean-themed drinks. Prices are pretty much typical for the area. Service was quick and friendly. It wasn't too busy at 6:30pm. I think it was a good experience for what it is, so 5 stars to cancel out the haters.

I’m not trying to write a whole essay so imma just say this GYATTTTT DAYYYAM!!! Man this place has the best burgers no side to five guys but these guys are the best around hands down. Shout out to Zach for the warm welcome and allowing me to take some photos!!! But foremost shout out to all the chefs back there making this burger juicy!!! Give them a raise ;) also VERY CLEAN FOOD WAS FRESH THE FRIES WHERE ALSO SUPER CRISPY AND FRESH!!! oh yeah they also have a bar and they close at 12 AM. Can’t beat that.!

They just opened so yes there are kinks, like the bun was not toasted,the onions weren’t grilled, and the fries needed a little longer in the fryer. Those are things that I believe will be worked out as they are open longer. The food was still delicious. I will come back. Lexie and Jared greeted us and made us feel welcome. Lexie’s service was excellent and she made sure our experience was perfect. She had good suggestions and was super friendly. As far as people complaining about prices. It’s 2026 I think the pricing is a right on line if not a better value than other places. The neighborhood is super safe and I don’t understand why people are saying it’s not.
