Rizwan A. 2 months agoThe rich, sumptuous food will blow you away! I've tried their Street burger and Smash burger and absolutely loved them. The decadently juicy and thick beef patties bathed in flavorful sauce and the crispy fries topped with that same kind of sauce will make you forget all your table manners, roll up the sleeves and just dig into it shamelessly. Top it off with the very polite and friendly staff, all in all would make you want to go there again and again.
Leah Shibilski 4 months agoReally chill delicious place to eat out. With Five Guys next door charging $12.50 for just a burger, and this lovely gem charging $16 for a full meal (fries, sauce, and a drink, or $10 for just the burger) it’s a no brainer to go support a local business instead of a chain. The chai frappe and both our burgers were delicious, everyone working there was super nice. They came to check on us a few times while we were there, and were really sweet both times. The menu glitched out so I don’t remember what our burgers were called but both were well cooked and seasoned, and delicious. The fries were well seasoned, but were a bit hard which is not our personal preference. I still enjoyed them with the house Urban sauce though. The Somali food also looked very good, so I’m excited to come back and try some goat and their sambusas.
Sara Rae a month agoI’ve had this place saved in my “want to go” folder for a long while… Unfortunately, I was disappointed. Spent over $57 for two bowls, fries and a shake. The chicken bowl was filled with mostly plain white rice and an overly fried chicken fillet. There were only a few kernels of corn, a pinch of both lettuce and cabbage and i couldn’t taste any sauce, I asked for more on the side. It was so dry and bland. The steak bowl was better but still lacked flavor and sauce. The Oreo milkshake was the best part, although, it could’ve used some chunks of Oreo instead of it blended that much.
Yogi 3 years agoThis place came recommended from a foodie friend of mine, I'm glad wechecked this place out, the food was great!! We ordered chicken wings(extra crispy)🔥🔥 and believe me this is fried chicken, that taste like home fried, so delicious🤤🤤. The curly fries were ok, the sambusa was amazing too. This will be our spot for fried chicken for sure, we have been looking for great fried chicken, we no longer need to look anymore. Can't wait to try some of the sandwiches, kudos Urban skillet, really glad you are close and local!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Uzma 4 years agoThe food was soooo good. I'm grateful that we have another halal joint in the city because I was starved for them. The burgers here are top notch. The fries are great. We went a bit early and the kitchen was in full swing for a huge catering order of chicken wings so we didn't get to try that but we had the original skillet, the chicken sandwich, and the chicken fries. All the food was well worth the wait. Since it was early, the brisket wasn't done yet but they were nice enough to bring us some brisket fries to try once the brisket was done. The brisket fries were out of this world and we can't wait to try the brisket burger. We'll be back here soon to try the wings (most anticipated for me), the brisket burger, and everything else on the menu! Overall we had great service and had great food.
