Went out of way to come to restaurant and could not be more disappointed. Chicken strips were cold and I was given expired buffalo sauce (past use by date). I went to counter and said something and was given 2 more sauces that was expired. Finally asked for manager who seemed shocked all of the buffalo cups in front of resturant were expired and I had to wait for him to find 2 that were due to expire in a few weeks. No apology was given and felt as though I was "bothering them" by bringing it to their attention.

This was horrible. The kid that took our order was rude. He was not helpful. I hadn’t eaten at Culver’s in MANY years. I forgot how it worked. He asked what I wanted on it. I asked what the options were, his reply was what do you want? My husband showed me the list. He didn’t asked what kind of cheese I wanted. We asked for the Flavor of the Day concrete and asked to change one to salted caramel. He didn’t change it even though he said ok. He did’t ask what size we wanted, just gave us Med The burger tasted weird. The concretes tasted chalky (like they weren’t mixed properly or something). There was no ice for drinks. I’ll be honest. For $37 this was an awful meal. This is probably(most likely) our last visit to a Culver’s. On a positive note. There were 2 older women at the counter when we left. They told us thank you for coming and have a nice evening. AND THEY WERE SMILING!!! That was nice. (Would have been nice to be greeted like that instead as if it was a bother for us to be there)

First time taking my children to Culver's and they were not disappointed. My 8 year old was excited to find out her kids meal came with a free dessert. She finished all her food, which doesn't always happen. My teen said her burger was really good and prepared perfectly. I was disappointed in my selection of fish sandwich because it was not quite enough fish for the bun. I should have just got fish and chips. The flavor was good on everything we ordered though.

Standards are usually very high at Culver’s but this one is slipping a bit. One side of ice was out and other was almost. I mentioned it to the lady cleaning lobby but she ignored me. Food came out wrong. Counter staff were not very friendly or helpful. Went back for vanilla ice cream and it took about 10 minutes to get 4 vanilla cups. Why? Who knows. Not impressed.

As a highly rated Google reviewer with almost 10 million views take my word that this Culver's location is a definite must try. I went to this Culver's State Line Rd Location and was very, very impressed with the friendly staff and service they provided. I order their famous North Atlantic Cod sandwich and it is hands down the best Fish Sandwich I've ever had from any restaurant. It was made to order and hand dipped in a very tasty batter which was delicious with just the right amount of crunch in every bite. The Cod inside was cooked just right and was tender, fresh, and I wish I would of ordered another one as well to take back home with me to Emporia. Their Onion rings are super tasty as well and were fresh, hot, and have this amazing taste that lets you know that Culver's cares about their products and put their customers first.This is my new favourite Culver's location in the South KC, Johnson County Metro area .I will be definitely returning for another Fish Sandwich when I go up there again in a couple weeks. Don't pass this Culver's by on State Line Road because it's a place that will treat you like you're meant to be treated which is a satisfied customer. Thank you Culver's for the wonderful experience. 5 Stars across the board. Keep up the stellar service.
