I had a concerning interaction with a security guard during a visit last week (I don’t recall the exact day). When I arrived, the guard appeared to be on his phone and was not very attentive. During our interaction, I felt he was dismissive and not very courteous. I have a service dog, which is permitted under the ADA in public spaces. While my dog is not vested due to the heat, she is clearly identified with a collar that has “SERVICE DOG” displayed in large white letters on a black background. Under the ADA, I am only required to identify my dog as a service animal and, if asked, explain what task she is trained to perform. Service animals are not required to wear a vest. The guard asked me to remove my dog based on the lack of a vest, which is not consistent with ADA guidelines. My dog was calm, lying down, and not disturbing anyone at the time. As I understand it, a service animal can only be asked to leave if it is out of control or not behaving appropriately, which was not the case here. I’m sharing this feedback in hopes that your staff can receive additional training on ADA service animal regulations. If a similar situation occurs in the future, I will need to pursue the appropriate steps to ensure my rights are respected. As a law student at UNM, I take these matters seriously and hope it can be resolved through better awareness.

I like eating here but when I came by this evening, the lady in the drive thru had the worst attitude. I couldn’t even hear her on the.m drive thru speaker but she acted like it was my problem. Some people should just avoid customer service if they’re not capable of controlling their emotions like an adult.

Stopped here while visiting for a quick snack, and it had good reviews. Took 5 minutes for anyone to come take our order, despite the girl working the drive through register glancing it way at least 3 times, and the kitchen staff seeing is stand there. The food was good, kind of standard chain burger stuff. Biggest bummer was the constant assault by house flies. We were waving them off our food the whole time we were there. Other than that, the staff was friendly once we got to talk to someone, and it was reasonably clean and well kept.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but Kandace deserves one. She was so kind and welcoming at the drive-thru, and you could tell she truly cares about how she treats people. That kind of energy makes a difference

We bought a burger meal and an extra burger last night for dinner. We don’t live super close to this location so it was disappointing to find a white hair about 6 inches in length embedded in the single burger when we were eating at home. I get things happen sometimes but it’s always discouraging when it happens to you.
