The one staff member I spoke with, she was very personable and fun to talk with. I learned that these recipes are prepared by the chef's and the staff at the location to execute the recipes. I ordered Marcus Samuelson tenders and they were definitely breaded differently than other's in the city and the fries were seasoned and cooked better than even a place like cityview. The bbq sauce was very tasty, however; the chef's were heavy on the salt for the fries and the tenders just a tad bit. I love the food network and some of the chef's that are featured in this lineup. I intend on trying a few more dishes, but hope they can be executed well, without the overpowering taste of salt. If you are following a recipe, you have to follow it to execution, before adding your own twist on it. Those fries would have been perfect, without the extra salt. They still tasted better than cityview, or Ed's fries, but still a little more salt than I would have wanted. Everyone's palate is different, I'd rather a little under salt and let me add the additional salt if needed. Honestly, if this was the dish I were to drive to New York for to visit Marcus Samuelson, I would be highly upset. But, nevertheless I will give another dish a try from here. The potential is good. The concept is good. I suggest that you follow the recipe and if you tasted it and find it maybe too salty like in my example, decrease the amount of salt or seasoning you input. As a chef, you have to make the executive determination if you want to serve something too over or too under with the cook or seasoning. Again, I'll try something else again, it's worth it I feel and I like the concept.

I’m from New Jersey, I was passing by and was trying the food here. Food was exceptional, I ordered a Meat Lovers Pizza. The pizza crust was good, Bacon and Pepperoni were cooked perfectly. My problem was the cheese and tomato paste. Cheese tasted like pasteurized less like real cheese and the tomato paste tasted like it was from a can and got warmed up. I was with family passing through and we decided to dine in before moving onto the rest of the night. We were all starving for food so this was the closest spot for food. French fries were good but very salty. Then for the drink I got a Poppi Root Beer expecting it to be freezing cold. It was luke warm like it was grabbed off of a shelf. Rather than a cold refrigerator. Given the fact I was starving and this was the first place we came across.. not sure if I’d recommend this place. The waiting time for our food was 40+ minutes. If the quality of food was better I’d recommend going here but nah. It’s mid.

I ordered the chicken fried rice. It’s quite fulfilling plenty of chicken. The rice was a little crunchy but otherwise it was delicious. This is my third time ordering from wonder. I was able to sit in and enjoy my food in comfort.

If you're confused about what Wonder is, it's delivery/pick up service that allows customers to select from a LARGE variety of cuisine in one order (Everyone gets what they want). Options include "Wonder" Restaurants (Licensed menus from niche restaurants around the country), national chains (Like IHOP & Papa Johns), and local joints like Primos. Their Wing Trip buffalo wings are decent. Sauce is mild and flavorful and the wings were juicy, but left me wishing for more sauce & a little bit crisper skin. Definitely not a bad option if you want wings and you're near by. Togarashi fries are pretty bland (not spicy at all) but Old Bay brightened them up real fast.

Wonder is a ghost kitchen and NOT a food hall - "food hall" is misleading branding from Wonder, and doesn't feel genuine. Should you go? Risk trying Wonder if you have a discount code. Otherwise why pay so much for average food? I had a Wonder discount code, so gave them a spin. I explored Wonder's website, mobile web site, and app. All provided basically the same experience. Ordering was easy. Mix and match dishes from different genres, or just pick one. There's no tipping or delivery fees. I decided to pick up my food, so I headed to Wonder's Rittenhouse location. My food was ready as-promised. However, no one was at the front to hand me my food. No greeters, no one manning the customer takeout area. I had to poke my head in the kitchen to ask for help. (Growing pains?) Wonder seems to have deals with certain restaurants, like SriPhaPhai, a NYC Thai spot. I ordered a Tom Yum soup, which tasted very generic, not like anything you'd get from the actual SriPhaPhai (which I've been to several times). Their papaya salad wasn't bad, but drenched in sauce. To mix things up, I got a beef and broccoli (white rice included) which looked like Chinese takeout. Meat was distractingly tenderized, but the broccoli was good. I was okay with the last dish, but disappointed with my Thai choices. This location has light seating, and is right by Liberty Place.
