The food was good even the fries and I’m not a fries person! The customer service was good. They were friendly, the food came out quickly and was hot. The ambiance is your typical take out burger joint. There were a group of drunken folks that were loud and using profanity. It was 1 am on a Tuesday and they were far from college age. Otherwise, I would ABSOLUTELY go back! That hot food hit the spot! If ever in the area, please give this place a try.

Cook out is my favorite fast food ever. We flew from Colorado and I had to have it. Still best food ever. Prices are super low, soda is super crisp. I miss it already.

They have some 15 year old boy at the counter who is extremely rude to young women that come in. The first time he says “where are your clothes?” While we’re wearing skirts and tank tops. The entire time he created problems enough for the whole staff to come out. This time he makes our order difficult again, with more inappropriate comments. We had to ask multiple times for ranch until they threw it. So any women looking for a meal after going out to a club or bar in Nashville; don’t go to cookout. Seems like the entire staff condones this behavior. Never in my life have I left a bad review at a restaurant, I run a cafe, but these experiences were ridiculous. Food was good!

I've never dined-in at a Cook Out before, but it was definitely an experience. Clean, thriving and quick! Exactly how it should be. Food was delicious, service was fast, and the location was excellent near neighboring hotels and local bars. If you need a break from Nashville's expensive menus, this is your place!

I really hate to give a 1 star rating because I really love cookout. My problem comes fr9m whoever was running the drive through mic. The line was empty and I admittedly didn't feel like driving all the way around the building just to get on the right side of the cones in your drive through. So I pulled up just past them and then backed up to the speaker to place my order. Whoever was on the mic decided today was the day to go on a power trip and tell me I needed to drive all the way around the building before she would take my order. Look I get it... if it had been busy or if I had done it to cut in front of someone, absolutely enforce that and put me in my place. I wouldn't have done it anyways if those had been the conditions, but it wasn't. She could have easily asked me to drive around the next time I came and I would have been really cool about it. Instead she lost your store 2 sales today. I know that's nothing compared to how many sales you probably do every day but still. Im never one to come on here and post something like this but it really set me off today and struck the wrong nerve with me.
