Went there with wife and two adult daughters at 11:30pm when we arrived in town. Burger was good, not the best ever. Fries were dry and starchy. Overall, not worth the grease and calorie cheat. Will not go back.

First time trying In-N-Out and I went with the “Flying Dutchman” since it’s all over social media. Honestly, not a great first impression. What I got was super greasy, really salty, and just kind of thrown together. The cheese was basically melted into an oily layer and the onions were soft and soggy instead of adding any texture. It didn’t feel like an actual item—more like something rushed out without much attention to how it turns out. I get that it’s a bun-less option, but that shouldn’t mean sacrificing basic quality. There’s a way to keep it simple and still make it taste good, and this just wasn’t it. Pretty disappointing overall, especially for a first visit. Not sure I’d go out of my way to come back based on this.

In-N-Out in Austin holds up to its reputation — the ingredients taste noticeably fresher than your average fast food stop. True to their philosophy, nothing sits under a heat lamp, and you can tell. The staff moves efficiently even when the place is packed, which in Austin is pretty much always. If you’ve never been, it’s worth the visit at least once to understand why people make such a fuss.

We stopped here on our way up north and so glad we did! We noticed the drive thru was 15 cars deep so we decided to “skip the line” and order carry out inside. They welcomed us and quickly attended us and took our order. We got double-doubles with onion added. As we waited, we packed a couple of the yellow peppers to go. It probably took about 10 mins before our order came out. As we walked out, we noticed the last car that was on the drive-thru when we had gotten there was already gone. That means that their drive-thru is much faster than their dine-in. We noted that for next time. Don’t let the drive-thru line deceive you. It goes by so quickly! Our burger was delicious! On the first bite, you can quickly taste the perfectly toasted and buttery bun. The cheese was melting perfectly and the patties were so juicy! I liked that the buns never got soggy, even til the last bite. That’s how you know it’s a well made burger. We skipped the fries as they are hit or miss. I feel like you have to eat their fries quickly, otherwise they get cold and hard. Overall, we will be back for their burgers anytime we pass by this area!

The food was decent, line was pretty long. I just have one question, why on EARTH is there so much salt in the burger??😭 are yall tryna preserve it, have a heavy hand, what? The burger had more salt than the fries. It wasn’t overwhelming but still, it threw me off the entire meal. The soda seemed a little flat and the shake was damn near liquid and not cold enough 😭. I know y’all can do better and hope for improvements
