PTerry’s is one of the best parts about living in Austin. Some say the fries aren’t good, but don’t trust them. The fries taste real and always hit the spot. The ingredients overall feel more authentic and you can’t beat the price. Always hits after a night out too.

I love this P. Terry’s location (closest to intersection of 34th and North Lamar). The food, service, and atmosphere are always excellent. The team members at the window (with the exception of 1) are always friendly, helpful, and make an extra effort to smile. They brighten my day. I prefer this location to the one that is closest to my home (William Cannon and MoPac). Their iced tea and Dr. Pepper are perfect!

Wow, that was such a delicious experience! The chicken burger was perfectly crispy and flavorful, with fresh lettuce, tomato, and pickles that really added to the dish. Big kudos to the wonderful ladies working tonight on 01/30/2026—you all made my visit truly special. My son enjoyed his #3 with bacon, which he said was also fantastic. The bacon was just right, and the lettuce, tomatoes, and fries were fresh and tasty. Thank you so much to the lovely lady who took our order — your kindness really made a difference!
