P. Terry's is my go-to for a comfort burger and shake when I visit Austin. They have a limited menu and what they make is done very well. The staff were friendly and joking around with us. It feels like I'm eating with friends every time we go. The fries are crispy and perfect for dipping in the root beer shake. I recommend this place to anyone.

Tried P. Terry’s breakfast for the first time and WOW. I got the egg burger, added two patties, and made it spicy with salsa and pepper jack cheese…absolutely heavenly. I literally had to pull over and eat it because it was that good 😂 The shoestring fries were perfection too. Quick drive-thru service & friendly staff! Officially a fan now.

Service was fine. However, my burger was not fully cooked on the inside. I hope that I do not get sick from this.

P. Terry's Burger Stand is the gold standard for fast food burgers in Austin and honestly one of the best burgers I have ever had anywhere. The patties are always fresh, never frozen, and you can taste the difference with every single bite. The ingredients are high quality and everything comes together perfectly in a way that puts most other burger places to shame. The fries are crispy and delicious and the milkshakes are absolutely incredible. What I also love about P. Terry's is that the prices are incredibly reasonable for the quality you are getting. The service is always fast and friendly and the whole experience feels a cut above your typical fast food stop. Whether you are grabbing a quick lunch or satisfying a late night craving, P. Terry's Burger Stand never disappoints. It is an Austin institution and one I will keep coming back to for years to come.

I’ve been to a lot of P. Terry’s locations, including the one in New Braunfels, but this was hands down the best experience I’ve had at any P. Terry’s. I went on March 23, 2026, and everything was perfect. The fries were hot and actually crispy, not soggy. The burger was fresh and juicy, and you could tell it was made right and served right away. On top of that, the customer service was excellent. Everyone working there was friendly, polite, and just seemed to care. I don’t know who was in the back cooking that day, but they need to keep doing exactly what they’re doing because that was one of the best burgers I’ve had from P. Terry’s in a long time. Great job all around.
