I ordered the Boo’s OG combo, and it was really good. I could really taste the freshness in the 44 farms beef patty. I especially loved the fries. Overall, this place provided quick service and tasty food. This is a walk up restaurant and there is only outdoor seating. I plan on visiting again to try the fish sandwich next !

In words of Margot Mill on THE MENU: “A real cheeseburger. Not some avant-garde deconstruction where the cheese is a gas and the beef is a foam. Just a regular, old-fashioned, good cheeseburger. Crinkle-cut fries. And American cheese” Uffffff !! What an amazing burger! I can u deft and why this place is always pack when I walk by; perfectly crispy fries (had to have the whole 2 people basket don’t judge me 😮‍💨) And the burger : perfectly cooked juicy and flavor: TOP!!! Have to try the mushroom next time I’m sure it’s just as amazing!!

Review: Stopped by Boo Burgers on Saturday around 4pm. Not packed at all, with plenty of free parking on the side. They play good oldies music outside, which sets a fun, relaxed vibe. There are outdoor tables for eating, making it a nice spot to hang out. The setup is unique — a storage container turned into a mini restaurant, with restrooms in nearby containers as well. Ordered the OG burger ($12). Making it a combo was an extra $5, which wasn’t bad. The burger and fries were good, though the price feels a bit on the higher side. Still, it’s a solid spot and a great option for a casual date night. Would come back. Tip: Grab an outdoor table and enjoy the music — it adds to the experience. Good vibes, good burgers, no fuss.

If you’re searching for the best burger spot in the area — especially “vegetarian burger near me,” “oyster mushroom sandwich,” or “top local restaurant” — Boo’s Burgers deserves your attention. I ordered the Shroom Sammie, and it was unforgettable. The marinated oyster mushrooms are fried to crispy, juicy perfection and stacked generously — not scattered, not skimpy — stacked. They’re layered with lemon pepper wet sauce, garlic aioli, pickles, and a cabbage-mustard green slaw that adds just the right brightness and balance. The challah bun is soft, slightly sweet, and perfectly built to hold every flavorful bite together. This is not an afterthought vegetarian option — it’s a standout sandwich that holds its own alongside the Boo’s OG Smash Burger. I got the combo with seasoned fries and a Jarritos, and everything came out hot and fresh. Service was fast, friendly, and efficient. The atmosphere sealed it — old school R&B playing, relaxed energy, and a casual setting that makes you want to sit back and savor it. Whether you’re looking for: • one of the best sandwiches in Houston • a satisfying vegetarian burger alternative • or a Black-owned restaurant worth supporting Boo’s Burgers delivers. Make the drive. Add it to your rotation. And if you go, order the Shroom Sammie. I’ll definitely be back.

Too expensive for what you get $18 for a double with no fries just feels bad! I ordered 2 patties plain, two patties with cheese and lettuce, a double, and basket of fries ran about $60. Which I’ve been here a few times the food tastes great but the charge is incredibly inconsistent between servers some charging a patty like you should or being told last night “no we charge the burger for a patty” so just turned into the last straw for me I will not be returning unfortunately as I do love the tasty burgers but can’t afford not knowing if I’m going to spend an arm and a leg! Much rather spend the time going to in and out for the same quality while getting more!
