My family we stayed at the Holiday Inn hotel, basically next store. I was looking for something to take back to the hotel and eat. I chose here because it was close and one of my children is a vegetarian. Which makes it easier when you know that they have options to choose from the menu. I also belong to the rewards club. Unfortunately, the times that we would go eat was doing business hours and it was packed. Although, it was packed we did eat there twice during our stay and again doing business hours. I ordered the chicken caesar wrap combo. It was delicious as always. Again, for it to be so busy the staff did a great job getting the orders out. Sorry, I didn’t take any pictures. This was the first place I ate at when we arrived in San Antonio. Soon, after I started eating at local restaurants and taking pictures. I definitely recommend this place, but for lunch I would say 1-2 people for dining in. Lunchtime is crowded and my family of four would struggle to find a spot to sit. Overall, clean, fast, and friendly.

Have you ever had one of those moments in life where you were served an entrée at a restaurant and thought, "Where in the world is the rest of the food?" This is what occurred on the evening of 27 Mar 2025 when I dined at another restaurant only to be left satisfied with the food quality, but disappointed with the food quantity. I know there was a Jimmy John's right down the street from where I was at, so I basically ran to this sandwich shop because it was getting close to their closing time. When I walked in, I was fortunate enough to be their final customer and was relieved that the employees didn't close down shop on me because it was really close to the end - yes, there have been times when I visited businesses and they literally locked their doors 5-10 minutes before the end of their posted hours of operations. So thanks to the employees working that evening! I ended up ordering the Ultimate Porker (#17) sandwich with light mayonnaise, but added mustard and onions; and also a bag of Salt/Vinegar Chips. After leaving another eatery, I figured it was fitting to order a sandwich (name) suitable to my "perceived" gluttonous style that evening. Needless to say, that sandwich hit that magical spot and I ended up happy that evening. The bread was soft and the ingredients were fresh...all qualities that amazed me for being that late in the evening. The employees were great but I could tell they were ready to leave and go home already. I mean, as a worker yourself, aren't you always tired, yet happy when the end of the day hits? The restaurant was clean and organized but I have a feeling the majority of the cleaning was accomplished right before I walked in. Regardless, I have confidence that they maintain cleanliness throughout the day. I walked past this restaurant earlier in the day and remember thinking to myself that I haven't had Jimmy John's in several years (~10+ years to be somewhat exact). So it was refreshing to get a taste of nostalgia for all time's sake...even though there are several of these businesses in my home city of Las Vegas (Nevada). Overall, the sandwich was good and the prices were reasonable. I can't think of any negative comments to provide so this was definitely a 5-star experience. I highly recommend this sandwich shop to everyone. I know I have my favorite sandwich shops back home but this one still ranks up there (within top 5) of all franchise sandwich shops.

about the unprofessional service at your 160 E Houston Street location in San Antonio on April 25th. After I ordered at 8:40 PM, the manager insisted I vacate the premises immediately because he was in a hurry to leave. Had I been informed that on-site dining was unavailable prior to ordering, I would have gone elsewhere. Additionally, while I was preparing my drink, an employee cleaning nearby reacted to a fallen lid by throwing a tantrum and tossing the item on the floor. This conduct falls well below professional standards. To the ownwr of the establishment, please review the closing procedures and staff behavior at this location to prevent future occurrences.

Please, work on listening to the customer. I ordered a combo, and the employee asked if I want everything on it, and I answered. I was only charged for the sandwich. Possibly, reading back the order would help clear up any accidents. The red haired lady was super nice, though.
