I ordered a chicken sandwich from Cook Out recently, and while the flavor was good and everything tasted fresh, I was pretty disappointed with the size of the chicken filet. It was noticeably undersized compared to the bun, which made the sandwich feel a bit lacking overall. The seasoning and texture were on point, and the service was quick as usual, but I expected a more substantial portion for the price. If the filet had been larger and actually filled out the bun, this would’ve easily been a much better experience. Still a fan of Cook Out, just hoping for more consistency in portion size next time.

My first time here. The place was empty at dinner time, so service was quick. One employee was helpful and friendly, while the other—not so much. She couldn't even fake that she wanted to be working there. I ordered two “Tray” combos, including one with a “double up” of onion rings. The prices were reasonable, which was a plus. Unfortunately, the portion size for the “double” onion rings looked more like a single order—if that. Based on reviews and photos, it seems like fries (or possibly another side) might be a safer bet if you’re looking for a more generous portion. That said, the food itself was tasty. The regular double burgers were flavorful, though a bit on the smaller side. I can only imagine how small the junior burger must be—probably closer to a slider. And, no UNsweet tea available and the sweet tea is uber sweet, not my personal preference. Overall, while the portions were underwhelming, the taste was solid, and I might consider giving them another try.

Came to Cookout before work for something quick & filling… they were a little too quick & didn’t cook my quesadillas :/ my sides were hot thankfully

I CANNOT make this up! So I am 9 months pregnant. My husband and I I stopped at this cookout an I ordered a Burger Tray with nuggets and Cajun fries. I wanted to know if there was a chance that I could get the onions chopped on my burger, as I hate when I bite into the burger, they slide out. So my husband asks the lady over the intercom if it was possible. She hesitates an goes to ask (I’m guessing) the cook an she comes back and says “the onions come in a circular format” and (I’m like ofc they do…bc they’re onions) we ofc didn’t say that to the girl an she kind of pushed past what she said an we pulled up to the order window and get our food. I tell my husband to pull over so I can check the order. 1st immediate problem is I notice the fries are plain, they aren’t Cajun. So I check the burger and it was covered in cheese, with a small patty and the onions were cut! So I was like great that’s amazing, but my fries are wrong so that sucks. So my husband parks and takes the tray into the building to see if they can give us the correct fries. So he goes in an I wait in the car for about 10 minutes. I’m thinking they are remaking the order because there wasn’t a line in the drive through and I could see there was no one in line inside. So eventually my husband comes back out and hands me the box. An I’m confused bc it’s the same box I originally had. I wish I was lying. I WISH I could make this up, when I tell you what happens next, because I was so dumbfounded I almost laughed. These people at this dam CookOut, gave my husband the paper bag that they usually put the fries in, an filled it with Cajun seasoning. A gave him the box with the messed up order back. Like they literally filled a bag with seasoning and was like “there you go” like that was ok. I have never in my life been handed what is basically a ghetto seasoning pack from a restaurant. NEVER!! I was so shocked I didn’t even know what to say. Who does that?! WHO?! I will never eat at this cookout again. I’ve never felt the need to leave a bad review on ANYTHING, but this was such an insane experience I just had to. BEWARE!! Even if it’s teenagers or whatever they should be coached/ trained better by their supervisor because this is ridiculous. I wouldn’t waste my money here.

Came here all the way from New Jersey always wanted to try it. Prices was great got a tray burger fries chicken quesadilla. I would say skip the quesadilla. They have a sink for you to wash your hands place wasn’t crowded food came out quick. Someone that was with me did not get fries in there order. When they went to the front to get them it was a hassle. One of the girls in the back Spanish she put the fries in and slammed the box down. Which was unnecessary a mistake is a mistake just fix it. We came to this location because of the better reviews. Overall good but check your food before sitting down. That employee needs an attitude check but everyone else was nice.
