Was very hungry after a +50k steps day around SF and craving for a proper large burger not too far from my hotel. Lucky me, Pearl’s was just around the corner and following some online reviews I went for the Deluxe Bula Burger with extra mushroom and Kobe meat as replacement (buffalo not being available unfortunately) with a side of a mix French fries and onion rings. Said sides were absolutely perfect, best French fries I had for quite a moment and onion rings crispy without being too dry. Burger was massive and really comforting. Not the the absolute best I have ever had but very decent with a meat cooked to my desire (real “rare”). Atmosphere was low key and very quiet, with fellow European travelers from Italy and France dining there too. All in all a great no-frills comforting experience after a long and busy day with the best possible food to indulge in.

Went here for dinner while in town. I tried the mini burger and a mixed basket of sweet potato fries and onion rings. Overall I felt like the food was just ok. The burger seemed a bit undercooked and lacked flavor. The sweet potato fries were pretty good, probably the best part. The onion rings weren’t good. They lacked substance and flavor. The restaurant is a small shop. Locally run. Overall it was clean but could use a refresh. Kinda had that old person house smell.

I love this place & so glad I found it. The burgers are always substantial & always consistent. I eat a Spicy Sly about 3x a week. The service is always amazing. One time, I arrived to pick up my order & the guy at the register realized the cook had forgotten to include my fries. They started making them & told me it would be about 5 minutes. I really wasn’t worried about it at all but they were so kind & apologetic. I didn’t have to wait too long & once they had the order completed, they gave me a free coke for the trouble. Even though, again, I really wasn’t tripping about it at all, the attention to the customer & service is amazing. I love this place & the staff.

My Prized Pearl burger was cooked to perfection but was disappointed with the lack of flavor of the burger. Not seasoned whatsoever which left me tasting the overbearing blue cheese. The garlic fries were good and my peanut butter milkshake was delicious. Presentation was good and the service was great but lacks the space for seating comfortably.

During my search for a quality burger establishment, I encountered this location. While the cleanliness was commendable and the seating limited, the burger surprisingly lacked flavor, despite its preparation. The chili hot dog more closely resembled a chili plate with a hot dog included. However, the accompanying fries and onion rings were excellent.
