I’ve been hearing about this place because they sell burgers for at least $1.99, which is honestly a good budgeting sandwich. Based on the price, they are small smashed burgers and usually the patties are thin compared to regular sized burgers. It’s probably why college students come here because it’s budget friendly here compared to most restaurants now. Anyways, the place is small and there’s no indoor dining. Just chairs for you to wait until your order is ready. They do have a patio located under some roof I believe and it’s good because it’s really hot today specifically over 80 degree right now. The issue is that the seatings are very limited and I can’t really find a place to sit. So I decided to sit at one of the benches that are near the school. Let’s jump straight to the food. The smashed burger is good and the cheese melts like it turns into mustard. The fries on the other hand are too salty. They put them in a cup container, which is something that some other restaurants do. Also, they don’t accept cash. So you’ll have to use your card or contactless payment method. My suggestion is to not add too much salt. I understand that it’s standardized to add it to fries from most restaurants but kinda not add too much of it. Overall, the place is good and I recommend others to come here for budget friendly options.

Really nice spot in San Jose! The burgers are juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right. The ingredients taste fresh, and they don’t skimp on the portions. I also loved how the fries were crispy and not greasy, which is hard to find sometimes. The place feels welcoming, and the staff were polite and quick with service. Prices are fair for the quality and size of the meals, which makes it a great value. Whether you’re stopping by for lunch, dinner, or a late bite, Campus Burgers is definitely worth it. I’ll be coming back for sure!

A burger for $2!? No way, are you serious!? You bet! Best of all? It's a decent hamburger! Definitely better than your Mac Donald's! Yes, the paddy is thin, that's the only way they can charge $2 for the thing. It also comes with a slightly grilled onion, which I have to say, was a really nice surprise! Will definitely come back and try some of their other stuff. Broke student in look of a bite? Late night munchies? Date didn't go as planned and need some comfort food? Campus Burger got you covered!

I love this place! It’s cheap but the quality is still there. You can get a burger, fries and shake for $15. Love how it’s open sort of late and the workers are always very nice and quick! For the price of the burger it’s delicious!

I wanted to love this place, but experience didn't match the hype. Underwhelming service at the counter. Asked about extra onions and was advised that "no modifications" were permitted. Ordered the 3x3 jalapeno as I've been lacking protein in my life this week. Was pleased by the quantity of meat, the amount onions and jalapenos but flavor was lacking. I peaked inside the pilot o' meat and saw a gray lifeless blob. I dreamt of the perfectly charred meat and classic flavor. But my busy, end of class day dinner rush experience yielded no such pleasures. The bun fit the 3x3 okay but would have swallowed burgers with lesser patties.
