Welp looks like the good old original Chubby’s has finally taking a dive. I went early thinking food would be fresh. Everyone would be in a good mood but no, I asked for my order to be separate. This is what I got Old fries “steak” that looks nothing like steak, more like cat food and a pinch of clobbered up cheese not happy and I will not be returning sad day😞

I grew up with the Chubby's on Morrison Road. Moved away years ago, and was back in Denver recently and found that location is no longer there. Went to #1 hoping to enjoy that good old flavor again, and it was close to what I remember, just not near as hot. It's a bit thicker too, but thats ok. However, it's still the best around. Beats Santiagos for sure, and the experience is just so nostalgic! The lady that took our order was super friendly, and the place is clean. It was packed with waiting customers, but we got our food in a very reasonable time. Parking is limited at noon, so you have to camp if you want a spot in the lot, or you can try parking in the neighborhood somewhere and walk. Some lady was complaining about a recent small price increase, but I don't think she's been many places lately. Chubby's prices are VERY reasonable. I hear they are expanding, so I hope they open shop in Greeley someday.

I’ve been coming here for years and have always spent around $85–$90 on double chili cheeseburgers, so this experience was really disappointing. I drove all the way home to Aurora only to find out my order was wrong—I was given all single burgers instead of doubles. I called, not to get my whole meal comped, but just to get refunded the price difference. Instead of helping, I was told the burgers were made as doubles, which they clearly were not. On top of that, I was told to bring the food back. That’s not realistic when I live that far away. Mistakes happen, but the way this was handled is what made it worse. It would go a long way to have employees who take accountability and actually try to resolve the issue for loyal customers. Really disappointed after being a regular for so long.

I ordered a breakfast burrito, sausage, bacon, and Chicharo that’s it. I waited half an hour to 45 minutes. It would’ve been longer if I didn’t ask him anything and when I do ask him, it takes him five seconds to give me my burrito like just for a burrito like seriously don’t compensate me nothing my time was wasted thanks and then I call and say I didn’t get everything in my burrito that I ordered. I was waiting 45 minutes for a burrito and And when I tell her, I’ve been waiting 45 minutes she calls back there for my number and has the burrito within seconds Whether if you’re busy or not, I am a customer. Don’t compensate me when I call back just disrespectful.

I ordered a steak burrito with chili on the side so the burrito doesn’t get soggy. Imagine my disappointment when I got home to find this small, Jell-O shot–sized chili for the burrito—and they even charge extra to put it on the side! Chubby’s is really going downhill! 😩🤦‍♂️
