First time trying Cook Out and honestly I get the hype now. The food came out insanely fast, portions were huge for the price, and everything tasted way better than expected. The burgers were fresh, the fries were loaded, and the milkshake selection is absolutely ridiculous in the best way possible. Perfect late-night comfort food spot with that classic chaotic Southern fast food energy. Definitely going back next time I’m in Atlanta.

Honestly, this restaurant beats 5 Guys and In-N-Out, easily. The burgers are a little small, but the cost less than of a third of the burgers anywhere else. So you buy two, it’s still less than other places and you get SO MUCH more for your money. Flavor is good, the menu options are vast and can suit any classic pallet. You can get a meal for 8 bucks, it tastes great, not super greasy, and the sauce seals it all together like the crown of a king. You have to try a milkshake, they are less than $5, or $1.50 extra if you get a meal and have it as a substitute. Where can you find a deal like that? On top of the fact that it’s locally sourced and operated, what more could you ask for? In summary, you won’t be disappointed if you come here. It’s a vibe, food is good, bring some friends, and have a good time. Don’t go to Mc Donald’s next door. It’s cheaper here, it’s better for you (maybe not by much but the beef is sooooo fresh!) and you’re supporting an honest business. Granted, they are busy, but it’s worth the wait.

This is honestly one the best experiences I’ve had. For the price I paid, it is worth it, good music in the restaurant. I had a milkshake, with the Big Double Tray with a double patty burger, Cajun fries, and a chicken ranch wrap with a blueberry cheesecake milkshake, and an additional little burger for only $15. Bring your friends! It’s like the In-N-Out of the south but better!

Food was great and cheap!! We were visiting Atlanta from New York and we were very happy with cookout. The guy at the counter was incredible, the restaurant was super busy and he had it fully under control. He is insanely good at multitasking and his customer service skills are 10/10, we didn’t catch his name but he’s a younger white guy with longer blond ish hair - whatever you’re paying him IS NOT ENOUGH!!
