Went for a pastrami burger because its my California comfort food. Service was great, the cashier was kind, talkative, and just an absolute sweetheart. Let me tell you, its not The Hat, but their San Joaquin burger hit the spot! Thank you so much, it truly was a delicious burger! Oh yeah, my boyfriend had the pastrami sandwich and loved it lol

I got the California burger, half pictured. I loved that it was cut in half and both halves wrapped. We were traveling through and just went through the drive-thru. Being wrapped helped in eating on the go, in the car. It was a good burger, cooked well, sandwich good sized. My granddaughter got the Pistrami cheesesteak sandwich, which she really liked. We both got the Pistrami chili fries. Unfortunately by the time we got to eat them, out of the car, they were cold and we had to reheat, fries in general don't reheat well and these didn't either. We probably should have skipped getting these, but they probably would have been much better if eaten sooner. There were quite a few different burgers/sandwich es to choose from. The size was well worth the cost. All was priced as average, pretty much what you'd pay for most. Service was friendly.

The Philly cheesesteak sandwich was absolutely fantastic and so yummy. But the best of the best are the big yummy ice cream cones. They are so big with so much tummy ice cream 🍦🍦🍦. And they are the best price for an ice cream cone around if you want an ice cream cone California burger is the place to go. The workers are so friendly and sweet as well. Stopped at the East 38th location, very popular spot. The guy taking my order was very patient considering I’ve never been before. I Wanted to try something new. I got a single burger it was good I enjoyed the seeded bun but it tasted a lot like Burger King. The fries were hot and seasoned well, which I loved. I also ordered a peanut butter cup twister and it was really good, just wish they offered different sizes so that way I didn’t have to waste half of it. Over all I would score this place a 7/10

Drive-thru. My second time here. Everything tastes so good. This time got veggie burger combo with jalapeño poppers and Cinnamon Toast Crunch shake. The poppers are good, and the ranch that comes with them is really good. Friendly service. Took about 7 minutes total (I think started with 4 or so cars ahead of me), food is made to order, so it's reasonable.
