This place definitely exceeded my expectations. The restaurant is very clean and inviting. It’s nice that they serve you on real plates since it’s a fast food joint. The fried chicken was good. The grilled chicken was also very good and citrusy. The chicken pieces are regular sized so you don’t get those gigantic pieces of chicken with weird texture. We had fries and the plantains. The fries were good and crisp. The plantains were good but nothing too special. Good tortillas. Aqua Frescas available which is a great alternative to soda. The Jamaica was not sweet. The hot sauce was on point and spicy.

This is usually our favorite spot when going out to eat with family but something was just off today (05/24/26) waited over 40 minutes for our order. I got up 3 times to check on our order and kept getting told “3more minutes” and then when we got our order it wasn’t even brought out completely, I was missing my kids food and was told it was another 10 minutes for campero NUGGETS?! That’s ridiculous. Definitely very disappointed because it wasn’t even busy. This location won’t have our business anymore, really good tasting food but the service needs to be better with the amount of money we spend here.

We happened to be driving in the area and came across Pollo Campero and decided to give it a try. We got the 4 piece mixed chicken with 2 sides and an extra side of plantains. The breading on the chicken was light and crisp and had a good flavor. The grilled chicken was very flavorful I’m guessing they do a citrus and herb marinade as the flavor can be tasted in every bite. (The seasoning reminded my husband of how they make grilled chicken in Guatemala therefore it tastes a little different than American style grilled chicken.). Both chicken flavors were juicy and delicious. The plantains were awesome, just like we make at home when I have time to make them. The service was good and the restaurant itself was clean and well kept. We will be going back again soon.

Fried Chicken was very juicy. French fries were fresh. Definitely be back when I’m in the mood for fried chicken.

Best Spicy Chicken Sandwich I have ever had!! Idk what they make the sauce out of, but it really is special. The workers were kind, and the service was fast. So glad I decided to give this place a try! Will absolutely be back in the future! ❤️
