I had dave's hot chicken for the first time today. And let me tell you it was a good experience! The flavors and the textures were unique and new. I like the fact that it made your fingers a little bit red while eating. But it didn't stain them and easily wiped off. The texture of the breading is different from a lot of fried chicken in that it's thinner and feels more like a nice rub, then it does real thick, deep fried chicken batter. The soft drinks were on point and the fries were cooked nicely.I also liked the dipping sauce and the generous amount of pickles that they gave. The staff was friendly and kind and had nice smiles. The music was energetic and fun. The wall art was very impressive, and I love the use of the rubber chicken in the logos and on the tulsa driller.I'm painting on the wall. very funny! I had the medium heat and it was a little bit light so that I hardly noticed any heat at all. next time I would probably try more heat. My only critique is that it could have used more salt in my opinion.

Stopped in for dinner on a Sunday evening. Have seen this place packed and wanted to check it out. We got the 18 pc flight to share with three flavors of chicken “nuggets”; hot honey, bbq and buffalo. We also got a side of fries. It worked out perfect- I didn’t like the bbq, he did. He didn’t like the buffalo, but I did. And we both liked the hot honey. Fries were crunchy, not too greasy, and had a nice spice level. Reaper ranch was awesome with them. Only complaint was the noise- music was fun, but it was too loud to carry on a conversation. Maybe I’m just old.

Well, it was time to give this chicken a try. I, for myself, had no idea it even existed. It took one of my kids to tell me about it, and after a couple of weeks of him nagging me, I finally gave in. So how was it? Food: The entire menu looked angry—heat, heat everywhere! Chicken this… chicken that… The boys went with the number two, and I chose the chicken bites. Not knowing the heat levels, we played it safe and went with medium. I was hoping the girl taking our order would weigh in, since it was clearly our first time, but no. She barely had a half-faint smile, not even a hint of help to guide us. On that note, let’s talk about the service. Service: Dull. No real sense of customer experience. Like I mentioned before, not even an attempt to guide us on what to expect from the heat levels offered. What surprised me even more was that when I selected no tip—because I believe a tip must be earned—her demeanor became even flatter than it already was. So no… no tip for under-average customer service. Atmosphere: Now, that was different. The atmosphere truly has a unique touch, one that gets you excited about what you’re about to experience. Even the bathrooms were clean. As for the chicken bites and the seasonings, they were just too sweet and overpowering for me. I’m sure there are people out there who probably love this, but for me, it wasn’t worth the overpriced chicken. Add the bland customer service to the mix, and that equals not another visit. Thanks!

The food was so delicious and fast service. Cashier was nice but I didn't like the fact she pointed to the screen and said all tips go to staff and that made me feel pressured to tip. She didn't interact with me after that so what am I tipping for excatly? I'm already supporting the restaurant and I feel tips should be for extra service or for when I want to do that.

I went to Dave’s and ordered a tender meal. When my order came, I realized that the chicken was raw and was completely inedible. I love Dave’s but after this, I am completely disappointed. I don’t think I will buy Dave's again after this incident 😔
