Excellent smash burgers with great flavor. A bit pricey, but worth it for the quality. The kids loved them, and the downtown location has fantastic city views. A great spot for a casual meal.

This is the best experience I have ever had at a Shake Shack. The food was fresh. The employees were efficient and very friendly. The facilities were clean. My food came out in a timely manner. I mean this was just a really great experience at a fast food restaurant. This was one of the best meals I had in New Orleans actually. I came here twice. I would definitely go back again.

Located across the street from Cesar’s Casino on the corner. When you walk in, which by the way has a ramp if you require one. You’ll order yourself using a kiosk. You’ll be asked if it’s dine in or Togo. If dine in, you’ll find the numbers there for your table. Food arrived quickly. My fries were not very hot, I have a feeling if I would have said something they would have no issue giving me a new order. The place is extremely clean and very cool. Try the Pomegranate Basil drink if you’re looking for something different quite refreshing on a hot day! By default the burgers are not made well done so if that’s your preference make sure to update your order. Food was delivered with a smile and she provided me with the bathroom code if I needed it.

Stopped by Shake Shack for a quick break from all the fried food in NOLA—and honestly, it hit the spot (even though I still ended up with cheese fries 😂). The spicy cheese fries are really good, flavorful with just the right kick. Also appreciated that the burger bun isn’t oversized, you actually get a good meat-to-bun ratio, which shouldn’t be rare but somehow is. Heads up: be ready to lean into some digital literacy here. Ordering is entirely through kiosks, and during lunch rush they’re pretty covered in fingerprints… so maybe bring your inner sanitizer mindset. Seating is also limited, and lunchtime definitely feels like peak rush hour. Overall, a solid, reliable option when you want something familiar and a break from heavier local fare.

I went to this shake shack twice during my stay in New Orleans because the building looked new, clean modern and inviting. The staff was friendly, professional and efficient. The food was absolutely delicious, perfectly prepared, shake shack does in my opinion the best burgers. The fries and the milkshakes have been excellent too. A great memory.
