I stopped by here to get a drink, only in the nearly empty restaurant, while I waited for my son to get a tarot reading down the street. I selected the frozen 32-ounce diesel daiquiri. It was good, sweet, and loaded with alcohol. The price was competitive for what you get. I had a conversation with the manager/owner while I was there, who was very personable. Bourbon Street was quiet because it was cold outside. Seating is limited to just bar seating against a back wall—no public restrooms. The female bartender didn’t have much to say. I would go for the daiquiri, then keep moving.

*11 October 2025* Visiting from Atlanta. The chicken here is everything!!! Seasoned to perfection. Moist. Juicy. Savory. The skin has the right amount of crunch and softness. I originally wanted their 2pc dark meat. I paid for it, but they "ran out." So I pivoted and ordered their wings instead. My friend, who also ordered the 2pc dark, allowed me to taste her drum, and it was just as good as my wings. Fries were good, too. But I wasn't crazy about their biscuit. It was too dry for me. I ordered their daiquiri -- the biggest size they had -- but it wasn't strong enough for me, as they promised. I finished the giant cup and wasn't even the slightest bit tipsy, which was my goal. My other friends who ordered daiquiris, too, did not get tipsy either, they said. I love the openness of the restaurant. It's in a great location on Bourbon. I would totally come here again, though! I just wanna be able to get the 2pc dark combo without it "running out."

The chicken is actually tender it just could use a little bit more seasoning. However the real star of the show is the cashier who halfway through our ordering process forgot she even worked here got confused and didn't know what to do. When she finally came back from wandering away and I reminded her what we ordered she had to look at our receipt because she thought she forgot to charge us

Having had a week of excellent seafood, we really craved some New Orleans Cajun chicken. We researched Willie’s and made a massive expensive mistake. Sitting at dirty tables with a disinterested server. The chicken was frozen and OK. Our 4 piece chicken box, beans and rice and two beers cost $67!!! (They have online cheaper options but not in store). If we had gone to Kentucky fried chicken it would have been under $20 with clean tables, a restroom and an engaged server. AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!!!! Don’t get ripped off! Clean your own tables at home and not at the place where you’re out to dine.

Interestingly, they have several venues on Bourbon Street. Willie's chicken is on Bourbon Street, the 600 block. Eclectic venue specializing in Daiquiri's . I went for the 151 Rum laced drink. The smallest one was $14. Very refreshing but be careful to consume carefully or you will definitely get a "brain-freeze." Actually, I went there for some fried chicken gizzards but they did not have any so I settled for the red beans and rice which also came with bits of sausage. Very tasty
