I went through the drive-thru at Chick-fil-A and received a flat soda. I left the drive-thru line, parked my car and went inside to have it replaced. When I did, the cashier assisting me appeared visibly annoyed. Interestingly, the gentleman who initially assisted me in the drive-thru noticed me inside and kindly asked if everything was okay. He was very pleasant, which was the complete opposite of the attitude I experienced from the inside cashier. Unfortunately, the replacement soda was also flat. Due to the attitude when the drink was handed to me, I didn’t feel comfortable asking again and ended up leaving the drink at the counter. I’ve never had a bad experience at any Chick-fil-A location before; customer service is usually excellent, which made this experience especially disappointing. I don’t expect perfection, but I do expect basic quality control and respectful customer service when an issue is brought to staff’s attention. This experience made me feel like an inconvenience rather than a paying customer. I won’t be returning.

I always knew this location was worse than the others in Charlotte, but it has been particularly bad since the recent remodel. When I entered the drive thru, only one car was in front of me. It took the CfA employee at least five minutes, with no exaggeration, to take the order and let the car proceed before I could drive ahead. After a couple minutes, I rolled down my window to listen to the conversation and overheard the employee talking about a nail salon down the street. She clearly was done taking the order and didn't have a care in the world for the 3+ cars waiting to order. To add insult to injury, the worker at the pick-up window shoved a cup in my face without even speaking to me. It was for the wrong person (I'm a female and the cup clearly said Ricky on it), so I had to fight for his attention for him to even realize there was an issue. I had to say my name three times for him to pay attention and listen to what I said. To management: please stress to your employees the expectation to stay on task and pay attention. Most of the problem is in your customer service, not food or product quality.

This Chick-fil-A is the only one that I’ve been to that never says my pleasure, thank you, or You’re welcome. They are rude and consistently seem bothered to be at work. Every time in the drive-through from the person who takes your order to the person who delivers it. It’s almost like they want to be against what Chick-fil-A stands for. I’m not sure what Chick-fil-A can do to change it, but it was this way before they remodeled and it’s still this way and it’s only this Chick-fil-A that I’ve ever been to that’s consistently like this it clearly has to be a leadership issue. Someone should be fired. It’s is known in Charlotte how rude this Chick-fil-A is. That should tell you something.

The service, manners, and efficiency at this Chic-fil-A are not up to par with what you’d expect. We had to wait 25 minutes in the drive-thru because the inside was locked and the app wasn’t accepting mobile orders.

I recently made a review through CARES about a bad experience and C. called and rectified the situation and the manager (Ike) handled it with great care and also the employee who was involved came up to me when he heard my name and drive thru and personally apologized and I really appreciate that!
