Not bad fried chicken, beans, and Mac. I'd still recommend it to my colleagues since we get tired of the fast food chains and kid meal portions for 18 plus bucks. There sweet tea well iced up was great and the fried okra was good too. If your looking for a lil kick in your chicken, come to Gus for that unique taste and the great atmosphere. Wow, I was very impressed with the amount of crunch flavor in the chicken. The fries were good. The mac & cheese was good. The corn nuggets were good. The only bad was that they should’ve put a little sea salt in the mac & cheese just a little other than that. It was good very good and the price was worth it after eating it the first I was hesitant about the price for three-piece basket that didn’t come with a drink, but it was worth it after.

Great tasting spicy fried chicken. Very good seasoning thru to the bone and very good sides. We visited the location on Magnolia Street in Downtown Fort Worth. Lots of other food places, stores and shops!

First time visiting from Shreveport Louisiana and must I say that my family and I were impressed. The slaw was great and the Mac and cheese was great too. The fried chicken and tenders were great as well. Not over seasoned and cooked to where they were still moist.

Ordered the 4 drumstick special with 2 sides. The first drumstick wasn't hot. The fries weren't that great. They were ok at best. You could get 2 sides. I got a double order of fries. Should have just gotten Mac n cheese. The greens & baked beans have pork. Overall it was ok.
