Jake’s in Fort Worth delivers exactly the kind of laid-back, no-nonsense Texas comfort food experience you’d hope for, and it really stands out thanks to excellent service and a lively, welcoming atmosphere. From the moment you walk in, the staff are friendly and attentive without being overbearing, and the whole place has that easygoing energy that makes it just as suitable for a casual dinner as it is for catching a game. Went with the chicken fried steak, which is hard to pass up in Texas. It came out golden brown and delicious on the outside with a nicely crisped crust that holds up well under the gravy. The flavor was solid and definitely satisfying, but the inside could have been just a bit juicier—especially considering we’re in the land of Texas longhorn cattle where expectations are naturally set pretty high. It’s one of those dishes that would easily be a 5 pretty much anywhere else, if you know what I mean, but here it just falls slightly short of that top tier. The sides were a strong supporting act. The steamed veggies were fresh and well-prepared (not overcooked, which is always a win), and the loaded baked potato was exactly what you want—warm, filling, and generously topped. Together, they rounded out the plate nicely and made for a well-balanced meal. Atmosphere is definitely one of Jake’s strengths. Classic sports bar setup with plenty of TVs, good spacing between tables, and a steady buzz of conversation that adds to the experience without making it feel too loud or chaotic. It’s the kind of place you can settle into for a while and not feel rushed. Only slight drawback is that small miss on the steak’s juiciness, but it’s a minor one and doesn’t take away too much from the overall experience. Overall, highly recommended for the service, atmosphere, and consistently good comfort food. Definitely a spot I’d come back to, especially to explore more of the menu next time around.

We had such a great experience at Jake's Burgers and Beer! The food was absolutely delicious, the atmosphere was fun and welcoming, and everything came out fresh and fast. What really made our visit exceptional was our server, Serenity. She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed the entire time. Her positive attitude and amazing customer service truly stood out and made our meal even more enjoyable. You can tell she genuinely cares about her customers and takes pride in what she does. We’ll definitely be coming back and hope to have Serenity as our server again! Highly recommend this place for great food and even better service.

Carrie D. was a great server!! I know that it's a burger place but the Chicken fried chicken was delicious. The Cherry Cheesecake was fantastic 😍. Great portions of everything. Freshly made for a mid day lunch. Walked in from the train station. Easy walk from there.

Brianna was awesome, really friendly and helpful! Jake's Burgers has quite the menu with lots of options, and honestly, I was very surprised with how affordable the prices are for the quality of the food you are getting! Definitely a good place to go any timetime

This place was fantastic! They had a huge variety of choices and everything we got was excellent, hot, fresh, and delicious 😋. The service was friendly and efficient, we did not have to wait long for anything. Definitely be going back!
